In Memory of Lucky
1987 - 2005
I rescued Lucky a long time ago in Atlanta, Georgia. His first family had to move out of their house to an apartment, and it could not take the dogs. So, this is how I ended up with Lucky. He was a wonderful dog. On the way home from getting him, he sat on my lap while I drove the truck home. He loved to be in the truck. He went to his first horse show/clinic with me the next weekend after I brought him home. He had never seen a horse! He barked one time at someone galloping by on cross country, got a little tap to tell him that was a no-no and I never heard him bark at another horse. He went to every horse show with me from then on. That dog was better traveled than most people that I know. He slept in Maxx's stall all the time even at home, which was his horse. He went to the barn with me twice a day to feed and always was right at whatever horse's feet I was riding around, but never in the way. He will be sorely missed by all that were blessed to meet him. He was the most wonderful animal I have ever owned. I know there will never be another Lucky! R.I.P. My sweet baby boy. I love and miss you very much.
