Boarding

  • Board is billed on a calendar month basis and bills will be issued on the 1st of the month. Payment is required by the 10th of each month.
  • Full board includes feeding twice a day, turnout/bring in, mucking and daily inspection. Full care, in addition to the above, includes blanket changing, wrapping (if necessary) and grooming.
  • All horses will be put on Camalou Farms' worming schedule and billed at cost.
  • All horses are required to be on a vaccination schedule and would prefer this be on Camalou Farms' schedule.
  • If you are unable to be here for the farrier/vet, please inform us and someone will be here to meet them. (Full board will be charged a $10.00 holding fee for this service.)
  • Thirty days written notice will be required when leaving to avoid incurring an additional month's board.
  • Any additional charges, such as worming or vaccinations, will appear on your monthly board bill.
  • In the event payment is not received by Camalou Farms by the 10th of each month, late fees will accure in the sum of ($5.00) a day until full payment and late fees are paid.
  • Our feed program consists Strategy pellets (14% or Omelene 200) or 14% sweet feed. We can create custom feed plans for your horse. The owner may choose between Coastal, Orchard-Alfalfa Mix, or Timothy-Alfalfa Mix.
